Arch Origins (2006-2009)

Archetype began in est. 2006-07. Archetype reached level 70 two weeks before the expansion "Wrath of the Lich King" was released. Upon it's release, I quickly leveled him to 80. Archetype at that time was in a Burning Crusade raiding guild known as the "Death Tones." After I reached 80 I left the guild and began do random heroics and other pointless objectives I felt needed to be done (Pointless, due to the fact I didn't know about,  or how to play my toon at the time).

After shopping around for promising guilds, I landed into the hands, and a gold mine of friends, raiding, and community in the guild "We Gquit." Those who were in this guild in late 2008 to early 2009 known of this comradery. I was instantly front runned into the main raiding 10 man group, which began my raiding career. I would begin in failing at dancing in Naxxramas, swallowing flame walls in the Obisdian Sanctum, and strafing my way to death in Malygos. Much experienced was gained through those dedicated raiding days, and would soon change my raiding career.

After 3-4 months of raiding experience, and raid leading dry runs, I confronted the gm and officers of "We Gquit" and informed them that I would be leaving. What they were not informed of, was I will go on to form what would be the very defining chapter and  pinnacle of "Archetype".

The Gates of Nitemare Cinema

After the departure from "We Gquit", I consulted with my friend "Slowhandjc",  about forming my own raiding guild. After long and difficult discussions, we decided to go through the works and begin molding what would soon be called "Nitemare Cinema". Once we began constructing the base of the guild we needed to recruit members, which we did over a large period of time, who we thought would be dedicated and loyal raiders.

After all the chips were in place, we banged out a schedule and headed into the "Obsidian Sanctum". Only taking a very short amount of time, our 10-man core group downed Sartharion (Obsidian Sanctum). Once he was defeated it was time to head into what would become Nitemare Cinema's guild reputation, "Naxxramas". Naxxramas was the next step for us, and we fled to skid in the sky with open minds. We failed very hard for weeks and weeks, only to get a little further or not at all each week.

After no progress was being made, members started to show up late or not all. This caused many complications with the officers and raider's in the guild. Many members would leave and force the Nitemare Council to take more off-time to re-staff. During the second round of recruitment we would be blessed with better fortune. After recieving a note-worthy reputation through the vines, we had many come in with open arms. Having as many members to almost fill a 25 man raid, and just enough for two 10 man raid groups, we headed back into Naxxramas with a big netherweave bag full of confidence.

Re-entering Naxxramas with a new group would prove to be difficult, re-hashing all the progress we had made with group #1 into the newcomers, became frustrating. Our strong council though would push through and make further progress in the raid. Much progress was becoming more evident every week, which led to reaching the final boss named "Kel' Thuzad" (KT). Many raid nights, energy drinks, cigarettes, and keyboard punching were consumed during this period on the final boss. Kel'Thuzad would soon fall to the hands of "Nitemare Cinema" ( can be seen in the Video Archetives). Killing KT would provide much confidence in the guild and it's members, and we would soon head into "The Eye of Eternity".

The Downfall (Est. late 2009- early 2010)

Nitemare Cinema had grew in confidence, but also began growing apart socially. Minimal attempts would be made in "The Eye of Eternity" before the guild would once again begin falling apart, although this time would be the climactic downfall of the guild, resulting in nearly every officer and member going thier own ways. Over the course of Archetype's Guild Mastering, I had made a few alts that would become my main focus after the heart-breaking split of the guild I created. At the time I stayed in touch with a few members, that would later end badly. Only 2 members after the split would I remain in contact and play with, which were "Slowhandjc" and "Nragedragon". My resto druid "Pillopants" would become my main and I re-newed my contract and also brought along Slow and Nrage into "We Gquit", ending an era. Archetype has been since retired.
